Project.
Jamie Ho is an artist that was born and raised in the suburbs of Fort Myers, Florida. When they planned to show their work at Winona State University, as a gallery design intern I was tasked to come up with an identity to represent their show. Once my designs were chosen, I created additional promotional materials for her exhibition opening on February 3, 2020.
Solution.
By utilizing Jamie’s photographs I was able to create an identity that was interesting while also creating a tether between my concept and the work exhibited in the show. The base of my concept was to use simple thin lines to draw some attention away from Jamie’s work and help the viewer by giving them a guide to follow the informational details for the show.
